Dark, oldish, building that has seen better days.

The building is iconic, but the set up for an architectural tourist is, well, meh.

This is a beautiful, historic building in Chicago! I am always surprised to hear people who work in or around the building not know about its historical significance. If you are in Chicago, look it up and check it out!

This place looks great from the yelp and google photos, and while i would recommend, in terms of quality asian fusion, it gets the job done but is nothing to write home about.

My favorite hidden gem building in the Loop--walk through it on your commute if you can! I always do! Beautifully restored and with its quaint boutique shops, it feels like stepping through time.

I had the great fortune to work at this iconic building back in 1978/79.

Classy, classic building with tons of character, great coffee and shopping options.

I work there often, at my friend's office. It is a fine example of preserved architecture and nostalgic design. I love the ornate mail box in the lobby!

This is possibly one of my favorite buildings in Chicago! The shops on the ground floor are perfectly curated and there's a sweet little yoga studio called Infinity tucked away on the third floor.

Was there for a lawsuit. There's many business inside the building. The lawyer won my case.

Been a tenant for at least 15 years. Management is responsive and fair. Building is a gem and well maintained.

Loved the architecture of the place. Walking in the front door is like stepping back in time with a slight modern twist.

One of my favourite places to visit when i come to Chicago. The building is an absolutely amazing time capsule. It feels like you've gone back in time 80 years. Aside from the amazing coffee from intelligentsia there is an old school flower shop, shoe repair place and fedora shop.

It's great place to visit it's like walking about back in time the security officer there is very outstanding in customer service very friendly and very knowledgeable of the building history .

Love visiting this historic building. Interior seems to be restored to original in the hallways and elevators. Nice variety of shops on the first floor.

This building is old and vibes vintage basic. Maybe I'm just used to a higher level of corporate... its offices for small to medium low rent attorneys, near the courthouse.

This is fine building in which to have an office. Small offices abound. The building management is very good and takes good care of this historic architectural icon. We recently renewed our lease and find the rates to be a good value for a Loop office. For a charming office that will make you feel like Sam Spade is your neighboring tenant, this is the place.

The world's tallest all brick structure. Massive walls at the base. I'm pretty sure they'd stop a tank.

A beautiful and unique building, a skyscraper straddling eras and building techniques. Go check it out and marvel at the 7 foot thick walls.

This building is incredibly impressive; a model of what every historic building in the city should be. The first floor is like stepping back in time, and everything is pristine. The shops are very fitting for this elegant place too. There are no corporate chains here, instead, one-of-a-kind shops. - Barber, men's and women's shoe stores, shoe shine, tobacco, sandwich, florist, cleaner/tailor, coffee, hat store.

As soon as you enter the building, you're immediately transported to the days of the Al Capone era.
